Why is that?

Is it just me, or does it seem like the people who do voice-overs on certain commercial TV stations are unable to finish a sentence?

It's been brewing for a while, but last night just seemed really obvious. Here are some paraphrased examples:
Voice over artist #1: "What is it about this guy..."
Voice over artist #2: "...that makes this girl so crazy about him."

VOA#1: "It looked like a safe place to swim..."
VOA#2: "...to the untrained eye..."
VOA#1: "...but wait 'til you see..."
VOA#2: "...what happens next..."

VOA#1: "Would you trust this man..."
VOA#2: "...with your vegies?"

It's like a husband and wife voice-over artist team have taken the "job-share" concept to a whole new level - sharing individual sentences.

And they wonder we are heading down the path of becoming a society that cannot even complete a sentence without someone else making a 'vital contribution'.
